Ms. Karleen C.
Strayer, CFA, is a Senior Vice President & Head of Municipal Research at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc. She is responsible for managing the research team within the Municipal Fixed Income Group at the firm, the investment advisory arm of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust.
In this role, she heads the team charged with analyzing tax-exempt issuers, determining the suitability of their bonds for our client portfolios.
She and her team also provide analysis of broader municipal market and sector trends.
Ms. Strayer was previously employed as a Principal by First National Bank of Chicago (Illinois), a Principal by MBIA Insurance Corp., and an Enterprise Sector Manager by National Public Finance Guarantee Corp.
She holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
She is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Philadelphia.
