John David Shelvey

Shelvey is an Investment Manager at Charles Stanley & Co. Ltd.
After graduating, Mr. Shelvey joined Equity & Law Life Assurance Company and spent over eight years as a UK equity analyst and fund manager.
He then spent over eight years managing the £600 million UK equity portfolio of the Blue Circle Pension Fund before joining Majedie Investments, the self-managed quoted investment trust, assisting with the management of its global equity portfolio.
In January 2004, Mr. John Shelvey joined Redmayne-Bentley in Abingdon as a private client stockbroker and finally fulfilled his ambition of working in Oxford when he joined Charles Stanley in May 2014.
He holds a Plant Sciences degree from Oxford University.
