Iogen Corp. develops and implements processes for making cellulosic biofuels. It is a technology and project development firm specializing in cellulosic biofuels and renewable transportation fuels that are made from the non-food portion of plant materials and that can be used in today’s cars. The firm uses modern enzymatic hydrolysis technology to produce commercial quantities of cellulosic ethanol for field demonstrations and also developed new ways to use biogas to make transportation fuels. Iogen was founded by Patrick Foody Sr. in 1974 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada .
