Jay Rajamony

Dr. Jayendran Rajamony is a Director of Alternatives at Numeric Investors LLC.
He leads the firm’s Alternatives team and serves on the Investment and Management Committees.
Prior to his current role, he co-managed the world market neutral and US small cap strategies, served on the strategic alpha research team and developed low volatility products at Man Numeric.
Before joining Man Numeric in 2004, Dr. Rajamony worked at Independence Investments in Boston as a Quantitative Analyst.
He received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India, a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Cornell University, and a doctorate degree in Physical Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Rajamony is a CFA charter holder.
He is a member of the Chicago Quantitative Alliance, the CFA Institute, and the CFA Society Boston.
