Prior to joining OQO in 2003, Elizabeth Bastiaanse was an associate with the venture capital firm Mayfield, where she evaluated early stage application and infrastructure software investments.

Previously she worked in consulting and software development for the transportation industry at ALK Associates and served as the technical assistant to the CEO at Mobilian, a wireless systems company.

in civil engineering and operations research from Princeton University and an M.B.A.
