Previously, Mr. Richards was a partner in the transactions group at Ernst & Young, most recently serving as the head of working capital services for the Americas, where he advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on value creation strategies throughout the investment lifecycle.
Prior thereto, he was Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Axon Group plc, a global technology advisory and outsourcing firm, first in Europe and later as a founding member of the Americas business unit, which he helped to grow from launch to $250 million in five years, until its acquisition by HCL in 2008.
During his tenure at Axon, Mr. Richards led geographic expansion and sector growth initiatives, conducted acquisition diligence and integration activities, and oversaw transformation programs for clients worldwide.
Mr. Richards earned a B.Sc.
honors degree from Bristol University and an M.B.A with distinction from Columbia Business School.
