Drew Dresser joined Flagship Pioneering in 2022 as a Director of Cloud Engineering.
He provides guidance to Flagship companies on building cloud solutions and is the lead architect for the cloud platform.
Drew helps scientists unlock new insights by leveraging the elasticity and agility of the cloud.
Drew joined Flagship from Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he was a Senior Solutions Architect for healthcare and life sciences startups.
As a Solutions Architect, Drew offered technical thought leadership, organized workshops, demoed architectures, and designed solutions for over 100 healthcare and life sciences startups.
He was previously in AWS Professional Services, where he led multiple customer engagements to develop cloud native architectures and next-generation sequencing pipelines.
Before AWS, Drew worked at PriceStats where he led a small team of engineers building machine learning models, web portals, and data related tooling for economists who were creating economic indicators using online pricing data.
Before PriceStats, he worked as a Pricing Analyst at Wayfair.
Drew has a B.S in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University.
