Mr. David Zee, CFA MBA, is a Vice President at Wilshire Associates, Inc. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and his research coverage is primarily focused on core/core plus and long-duration fixed income.
Prior to joining Wilshire Associates in 2013, Mr. Zee spent seven years as a portfolio manager with Payden & Rygel Investment Management where he co-managed a top-down global equity strategy, which utilized derivatives, futures, swaps, fixed income securities, and optimized baskets of stocks to gain active exposures.
While at Payden & Rygel, he created and monitored multivariate factor models based on global macroeconomic and fundamental data and conducted scenario analysis to understand and forecast portfolio performance Mr. Zee began his career as a portfolio manager and equity research analyst at Wells Fargo where he managed $500 million in fixed-income and balanced accounts for fiduciary trust and private bank high net worth clients.
Mr. Zee earned his BS from the University of California, San Diego, and holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
