Dr. Chris C.
Cao is a Managing Director at Barings LLC.

Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Dr. Cao served as a senior quantitative analyst at INVESCO, where he was responsible for the development of computer-driven, model-based investment strategies and risk management capabilities.
Before INVESCO, he worked as a quantitative analyst at Aeltus Investment Management, where he focused on building analytical models for active stock selection.
He holds a B.S.
from Wuhan University, an M.S.
from both Beijing Institute of Technology and Boston College, a Ph.D.
in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and is a member of the CFA Institute.
