Celia Chan

Celia has worked at Alignvest for nine years and was previously the Controller at Alignvest Management Corporation.
Since joining Alignvest in 2013, Celia is responsible for the financial, tax and compliance functions within the firm and actively involved with Alignvest Student Housing since its inception in 2018.
In addition to her responsibilities at Alignvest Management Corporation, and Alignvest Student Housing, she is also the Chief Compliance Officer at Alignvest Capital Management Inc., a registered Exempt Market Dealer.
Prior to joining Alignvest, Celia was a Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, a global professional services firm, where she specialized in providing audit and advisory services to clients in the financial services industry, specifically asset management companies.
Celia is a CPA, CA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto.
