Mr. Malta joined Northland Securities in July 2004 as an Equity Research Associate.
Prior to joining Northland, he worked closely with the President and CEO of Teletrol Systems, Inc. - a DEKA company - in Manchester, NH, as a Finance/Marketing intern.
During his time there, he participated in the preparation of a competitive analysis for the companies building automation products.
Mr. Malta moved from Brazil five years ago and graduated from a small Catholic high school in Marinette, WI.
He then moved to the Twin Cities and received a bachelors degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
In addition to English, Mr. Malta is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Mr. Malta is Series 7 & 63 licensed and is a Level I Candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
