Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Darling was a Director and Portfolio Manager with the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan where he managed a portfolio of global financial equities.
As a senior member of the Global Active Equities team, he helped oversee fundamental bottom-up stock picking.
He has also previously worked at RBC Capital Markets in Equity Research and CIBC World Markets Finance.
He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. leading audit engagements of banks, broker dealers and asset managers.
Mr. Darling received his B.A.
(Honors) degree from the University of Western Ontario (Ivey School of Business).
