Pioneer Alternative Investment Management Ltd. (UK), (PAI-UK), is the London-based operating division of Pioneer Alternative Investment Management (PAI) in Dublin, the alternative asset management arm of UniCredit SpA (MI: UCG) in Italy. PAI has research and investment centres in Dublin, New York, London, Geneva and Milan.

Pioneer Alternative Investment Management SGR SpA (PAIM-IT) is the Milan-based office of PAI-Pioneer Alternative Investments, the alternative investment arm of Pioneer Global Asset Management SpA. Established in 1999, PAI has additional offices in Dublin, New York and London. The Pioneer group is part of UniCredit SpA (MI: UCG), one of Europe's leading banks, since 2000. PAIM-IT manages hedge funds distributed in Italy through the banking subsidiaries of the UniCredit group, and through Pioneer's network of offices around the world. The firm develops and manages a diverse range of multi-strategy Italian hedge funds for institutional clients.
