Welbe, Inc. reported non-consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2018. For the period, net sales were JPY 4,307 million against JPY 3,207 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 1,191 million against JPY 754 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 753 million against JPY 485 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 27.78 against JPY 18.63 a year ago. Diluted net income per share was JPY 26.16 against JPY 17.15 a year ago.
For the year ending March 31, 2019, the company expects net sales of JPY 5,565 million, operating profit of JPY 1,295 million, profit of JPY 834 million and net income per share of JPY 30.65.
Welbe, Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in provision of disability welfare services. The employment transition support business provides employment training, including preparation and correction of application forms, mock interview and practical training in workplace. The business also provides specific consultation support and independence training for people with disabilities. The rehabilitation business provides instruction for growth and development for pre-school children with developmental disorders and lesson support for primary school students, junior high school students, and high school students after school classes and during long vacation.
