AppDirect announced the partnership with Wacom. Through the partnership, AppDirect will power Wacom's new marketplace, which will offer a variety of apps to help customers find the creativity and digital stationery tools they need, all available through single sign-on. The partnership marks one of AppDirect's first with a consumer hardware manufacturer and will help Wacom create an entire ecosystem of applications that its customers can use to enhance and compliment their designs.

Initially, the Wacom Marketplace will include Wacom's proprietary applications, including Bamboo Spark, which allows users to create notes and sketches on paper and then digitalizes and saves them in the cloud; Bamboo Paper, the company's digital notetaking app; and Dropzone, its cloud-based clipboard and sharing app. In addition, the Wacom Marketplace will launch with a number of third-party apps in the near future.
