Richard Binhammer and Tom Webster join Monty as new additions to the speaker lineup at Vocus' annual marketing & PR conference

Vocus, Inc. (NASDAQ: VOCS), a leading provider of cloud-based marketing and public relations software, today announced Scott Monty, the global digital and multimedia communications manager at Ford Motor Company, will speak at its marketing and PR conference, Demand Success 2014. Vocus released this news in a video filmed yesterday at the 2014 Washington D.C. Auto Show.

Ranked by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 10 influencers in social media, Monty has been called "the best corporate social media lead on the planet" by Social Media Explorer, and Ford Motor Company Chief Executive Officer Alan Mulally called him "a visionary." At Ford, he is a strategic advisor on all social media activities across the company, from blogger relations to marketing support, customer service to internal communications, and integrates social media into the many facets of Ford's business. During the conference, Monty will lead the breakout session, "How Ford Uses Social to Compete and Lead."

Joining Monty on the speaker roster is Binhammer Social Business and Corporate Communications Consulting Principal Richard Binhammer and Edison Research Vice President of Strategy and Marketing Tom Webster.

An early adopter of social media for business in 2006, Binhammer became active in the social media field by engaging with bloggers who were using their newfound influence to impact brands and corporate reputations. As the director of Dell's social media and community team, he was responsible for communications, social relations and training. Binhammer is leading the Demand Success session "Using Content to Engage and Convert."

With nearly 20 years of experience in media research, marketing strategy and product development, Webster has developed several innovative new research products and applications. Using these techniques, he has conducted research for some of America's most popular media programs, including "All Things Considered," "The Takeaway" and "The Bob and Tom Show." Webster will lead the "State of the Social Web in 2014" session.

"With these additions, we're bringing three pioneers in corporate social media marketing to Demand Success 2014," said Vocus Chief Marketing Officer You Mon Tsang. "Ford's Scott Monty is credited with igniting fan passion for its vehicles on social media and will provide great insights and actionable advice to our attendees."

Demand Success 2014 is a two-day marketing and public relations conference taking place on June 5-6, 2014 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Emmy-nominated HBO series "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier and Google Digital Marketing Evangelist and Co-Founder of Market Motive Avinash Kaushik will both serve as keynote speakers.
