Vaxart, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported net loss was USD 29.31 million compared to USD 17.58 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.23 compared to USD 0.14 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 0.085 million compared to USD 0.818 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 83.84 million compared to USD 49.71 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.66 compared to USD 0.41 a year ago.
Vaxart, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company that is primarily focused on the development of oral recombinant vaccines based on its Vector-Adjuvant-Antigen Standardized Technology (VAAST) proprietary oral vaccine platform. Its vaccines are designed to be administered using pills that can be stored and shipped without refrigeration and eliminate the risk of needle-stick injury.
