Closure of Books and Interim Special Dividend 2016
Please be advised that the Directors of United Plantations Berhad have on 19 November 2016 declared an Interim Dividend of 20% per share and a Special Dividend of 10% per share for the year ending 31 December 2016.
The dividend will be paid on 16 December 2016 to shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors (ROD) and the Register of Members at the close of business on 6 December 2016.
A Depositor shall qualify for entitlement only in respect of:
Shares transferred into the depositor's securities account before 4.00 p.m. on 6 December 2016 in respect of ordinary transfers; and
Shares bought on the Bursa Malaysia on a cum entitlement basis according to the rules of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
