Warsaw (Poland) - October 11th, 2016 TVN Group SA has appointed Marek Szydłowski, the current Legal Department Director, to the Management Board with immediate effect. Marek Szydłowski will continue to have overall responsibility for all aspects of legal service, as well as information security, compliance and internal audit.

Since 2013 Marek Szydłowski is the main legal advisor to the board and ensures the highest standards and integrity of legal services in all the TVN operation units. He specializes in the media sector law, advising companies from this market segment since 2002, especially in copyright, advertisement and Internet law. He also has an extensive knowledge of company, capital market and labor law.

Marek Szydłowski is an experienced solicitor. For years he worked as a partner at various Polish law firms, he also managed the Legal Department of Agora S.A. Before joining TVN he was responsible for the TMT law and personal data protection practices at Wardyński & Partners law firm in Warsaw.

Marek Szydłowski graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. In 2001, he became a registered legal advisor and in 2003 he obtained his Executive MBA diploma and graduated with distinctions from the School of Business at the Warsaw University of Technology.
