PITTSBURGH (AP) _ TriState Capital Holdings Inc. (TSC) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $14.6 million.

The bank, based in Pittsburgh, said it had earnings of 44 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 47 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 46 cents per share.

The holding company for TriState Capital Bank posted revenue of $79 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $46.6 million, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $46.5 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $60.2 million, or $1.89 per share. Revenue was reported as $179.8 million.

TriState shares have fallen 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $24, an increase of 14% in the last 12 months.
