TRIMAC TRANSPORTATION ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

(Calgary, May 9, 2014) Trimac Transportation Ltd. ("Trimac") (TSX: TMA) announced today that the nominees listed in the Corporation's information circular dated March 24, 2014, were elected as directors of the Corporation at the annual meeting of shareholders held earlier today.
The following six nominees were elected by ballot vote as directors of the Corporation to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders of Trimac or until their successors are elected or appointed. The results of the ballot were as follows:
