Transneft Urals, JSC finalized reconstruction of the service pipelines at the Leninsk line operation dispatcher station (LODS), Chelyabinsk Oil Pipeline Department (OPD).

A discharge pipeline (800 mm in diameter, 242 meters long, the route passes outside the station) was built as part of the project from the Ust-Balyk - Kurgan - Ufa - Almetievsk (UBKUA) oil trunk pipeline to the discharge pipeline that is being designed at the Nizhnevartovsk - Kurgan - Kyubyshev (NKK) oil trunk pipeline. A discharge pipeline (800 mm in diameter, 280 meters long, the route partially passes outside the station) was also constructed from NKK OTP to the tie-in to the pressure dumping pipeline of the Leninsk LODS of UBKUA OTP. Ball valves fitted up with electric drives with electronic startup equipment were installed at the existing 1,200 mm pipelines.

The work performed enhanced efficiency of the Leninsk LODS operation, and expanded the crude oil flow management capacity for the personnel.

For reference: Leninsk LODS is the main station of the Chelyabinsk Oil Pipeline Department, one of the biggest facilities at Transneft Urals, JSC. The station maintains the sections of UBKUA, NKK, Tuimazy - Omsk - Novosibirsk oil trunk pipelines of the 1 and 2 stage (TON-1 and TON-2), and has the biggest tank farm in the Chelyabinsk OPD.
