FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) _ Tivity Health (TVTY) on Thursday reported first-quarter profit of $581,000.

The Franklin, Tennessee-based company said it had net income of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and to account for discontinued operations, were 40 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 42 cents per share.

The wellness program administrator posted revenue of $127.5 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $133.2 million.
