Cesca Therapeutics Inc. announced the appointment of Joe Balagot to the newly-created position of senior vice president of corporate development, effective November 22, 2017. Mr. Balagot, who will report to Vivian Liu, chief operating officer, will have primary responsibility for all corporate development activities, including the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions, the establishment of partnerships and collaborations with industry and academia, as well as outreach to the investment community. Balagot brings to the company more than 20 years of financial and strategic advisory experience and an extensive track record, prior to joining the company Balagot spent nine years as a managing director /partner of investment banking at Dawson James Securities.
