Cesca Therapeutics Inc. announced the departure of Vivian Liu, Chief Operating Officer, and Joseph Balagot, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, and one other member of the managerial team. This reduction was undertaken as part of a series of initiatives designed to lower operating losses while the Company focuses on aggressively driving growth and commercialization of its CAR-TXpress™ cellular processing platform and related X-Series™ products. Affected employees are being offered severance.
ThermoGenesis Holdings, Inc. develops and commercializes a range of automated technologies for cell-banking, cell-processing, and cell-based therapeutics. The Company provides the AutoXpress and BioArchive platforms for automated clinical bio-banking, the PXP platform for point-of-care cell-based therapies and X-Series products for cell processing services. Its Cell Processing includes X-Series Products for general laboratory use: X-Lab for cell isolation, X-Wash System for cell washing and reformulation, and X-Mini for high efficiency small scale cell purification. The Company markets and sells its medical device products through independent distributors.
