Techno Mathematical Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 115 million against JPY 90 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 64 million against JPY 78 million a year ago. Loss was JPY 65 million against JPY 76 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was JPY 25.24 against JPY 29.42 a year ago.
For the first half ending September 2019, the company expects net sales of JPY 300 million, operating loss of JPY 71 million, loss of JPY 71 million and basic loss per share of JPY 27.38.
For the year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 830 million, operating profit of JPY 80 million, profit of JPY 71 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 27.38.
Techno Mathematical Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company involved in the development and sale of digital media new algorithm (DMNA)-based software and hardware products complying with global standards for image, voice and sound processing, as well as the development and sale of large-scale integration (LSI) products. DMNA is developed based on the mathematical methods used by the Company. The Company has three business segments. The Software License segment offers software products used in embedded systems of cellular phones, digital still cameras and others. The Hardware License segment provides intellectual property (IP) as design data for large-scale semiconductors that are used in electronic devices. The Solution segment manufactures and sells single-function LSI products.
