Taiwan Secom Co., Ltd. (TWSE:9917) agreed to acquire a 70% stake in Golden Harvest Food Enterprise Ltd. for NTD 550 million on May 13, 2021. Taiwan Secom Co., Ltd's board for directors approved to acquire at least 70% of the stake in Golden Harvest Food Enterprise Ltd. Post completion, the management of Taiwan Secom Co., Ltd. (TWSE:9917) will be unchanged.
Taiwan Secom Co Ltd is a Taiwan based company mainly engaged in the provision of electronic engineering and electronic services. The main product is electronic security system, which mainly uses communication networks and computer equipment to cooperate with professional security electronic equipment and personnel to maintain the safety of customers' lives and property. The products include smart security control system services, digital surveillance systems, access control and attendance systems, fire protection systems, professional vaults, mobile satellite positioning assistance, smart care services, public health station services, earthquake warning and other security-related projects. The Company also develops related equipment for security systems, video surveillance and Internet of Things applications. The products mainly serve Taiwan and Penghu.
