Taiwan Fertilizer Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 2,610.836 million compared to TWD 2,422.463 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 251.503 million compared to TWD 362.775 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 760.322 million compared to TWD 398.048 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.78 compared to TWD 0.41 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 5,559.920 million compared to TWD 5,450.081 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 618.852 million compared to TWD 681.598 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,508.614 million compared to TWD 1,584.158 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.54 compared to TWD 1.62 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.54 compared to TWD 1.61 a year ago.
Taiwan Fertilizer Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of fertilizers, chemical products and electronic chemicals. Its fertilizer products include ammonium sulfates, calcium superphosphates, compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, urea and potassium chlorides. Its chemical products include industrial urea, liquid ammonia, nitric acids and sulfuric acids. Its electronic chemicals include photo resist agents, strippers, purifiers, organic acids and others. In addition, the Company is also engaged in property development. The Company conducts its businesses in domestic and overseas markets.
