(Alliance News) - Streaks Gaming PLC on Wednesday said it plans to start trading as a standard listing of the London Stock Exchange on Thursday next week.

London-based Streaks said it will be the first conversational conversational gaming company on the LSE. It aims to raise GBP3 million. London-based decentralised finance incubator AQRU PLC on Wednesday said it is investing GBP2.3 million in Streaks, about 77% of what Streaks plans to raise.

AQRU Chair Michael Edwards also will chair Streaks Gaming, while AQRU Chief Financial Officer Nicholas Lyth also will be the CFO of Streaks. AQRU Non-Executive director Mark Rutledge is chief executive officer of Streaks Gaming.

"The company plans to create a global conversational gaming platform based on powerful natural language processing text generators like GPT-3. As sports betting is legalised across the United States, it is expected that many first time bettors will be first introduced to betting through conversational gaming. The directors believe that Streaks will be able to leverage conversational gaming to service the growing demand for US sports betting," Streaks said.

AQRU shares were untraded on Aquis Stock Exchange in London on Wednesday morning, last quoted on Friday last week at 0.5 pence for a market capitalisation of GBP8.3 million.
