The London and South East office of St. Modwen, the UK's leading regeneration specialist, has appointed Philip Robins as Senior Development Manager for its major redevelopment of New Covent Garden Market in Nine Elms.

Philip joins at a key stage for the 57 acre project which was granted planning consent in November 2014. Work has now begun on site for the delivery of the 10-year project, which will provide over 500,000 sq ft of new state-of-the-art market facilities across a 37 acre site. The remaining 20 acres of land will be transformed into three high quality residential neighbourhoods comprising approximately 3,000 new homes, 135,000 sq ft of office space and 100,000 sq ft of retail, leisure and new community facilities, including shops, cafés and restaurants.

Having previously worked at Mace and Gardiner & Theobald, Philip joins St. Modwen from M3 Consulting where he worked for over seven years on significant Central London developments including Bankside Quarter, a major residential led scheme on the South Bank for Carlyle Real Estate Advisors. Philip also undertook key commissions for clients including British Land, Crown Estate, Royal Mail Group and PW Real Assets.
