ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO

RULES 13.51(2)(l) AND 13.51B(2) OF THE LISTING RULES

This announcement is made by Sing Tao News Corporation Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to Rules 13.51(2)(l) and 13.51B(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules").

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") announces that Sing Tao Newspapers Pty. Limited (the "AUD Subsidiary"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company and incorporated in Australia, was in a creditors' voluntary liquidation on 5 February 2020, and the joint and several liquidators were appointed on the same date.

The AUD Subsidiary was principally engaged in newspapers publishing in Australia. As at 5 February 2020, the estimated total debt was approximately AUD2.4 million. The directors of the Company are of the view that the liquidation of the AUD Subsidiary will not have any material adverse impact to the operations and financial position of the Group.

The Company has nominated its executive directors, Mr. SIU Sai Wo and Mr. LAU Chung Man, Louis as directors of the AUD Subsidiary. The fact that the liquidation of the AUD Subsidiary constitutes an event described in Rule 13.51(2)(l) of the Listing Rules, and is a change in information required to be disclosed by Mr. SIU Sai Wo and Mr. LAU Chung Man, Louis pursuant to Rule 13.51B(2) of the Listing Rules.

Save as disclosed in this announcement, the Company has no other information which needs to be disclosed under Rules 13.51(2)(l) and 13.51B(2) of the Listing Rules, and there is no matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
