BGL Audiovisual, Grupo Secuoya's audiovisual engineering company, has just been recognized twice in the first edition of the TM Broadcast Awards. Specifically, the first the specialized magazine awarded Secuoya Studios projects as Best Infrastructure Renovation Project, and the National Museum of Qatar for Best Standard Technology Integration Project.

The jury, made up of Luis Sanz (independent consultant), Gerardo Cabrera (technical director of 8madrid TV), Javier de Martín (Ceo Daró Media Group) as president, Yeray Alfageme (collaborator of the publication) and Luis Pavía (audiovisual expert), considers audiovisual complex of 22,000 square meters where the headquarters of the Grupo Secuoya company is located can be considered 'the spearhead in Southern Europe given its operational ambition and the good approach of its technological proposal'. We also, the committee considers that it is 'the huge audiovisual commitment in recent years in terms of volume, business capacity and job creation, has made Madrid a really important pole in Spain in terms of creation and production'.

In 2019, four fundamental parts of the Tres Cantos (Madrid Content City) facilities were improved and modernized: corporate building, auditorium with capacity for 267 people, production and post-production studios, carried out by BGL.

'Technological criteria, approach and focus'

As for the integration of audiovisual equipment in nine of the eleven galleries of the National Museum of Qatar (Doha), designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the jury highlights the 'technological criterion' of BGL's project, 'a very careful and well-thought-out work that stands out for its focus on targeting the end public.' The main objective of the audiovisual engineering company in this project was to achieve an immersive feeling and introduce numerous interactive features to make the visitor experience especially attractive.

The museum is a tour full of walls turned in screens - up to 3,000 square meters of projection - that claim at the country history. BGL is responsible for the 170 projectors 4K that work synchronously. To cover this audiovisual plan, the company assigned more than 70 direct professionals (audio engineers, video, project managers, integrators, developers…) between Qatar and Spain.
