Pavel Voronin has been appointed as Vice President for subsidiaries' technological development (CIO of subsidiaries). He will be in charge of the integration of subsidiaries into the Sberbank ecosystem, introduction of basic technological standards of architecture and key IT processes for subsidiaries, providing a high level of reliability, and use of the Sberbank digital platform to increase the efficiency of subsidiaries' IT solutions.

He will report directly to David Rafalovsky, CTO of Sberbank Group, and interact with Oksana Smirnova-Krell, CIO of the Sberbank ecosystem.

Before joining Sberbank, Pavel Voronin acted as S7 Group First Deputy General Director on information technology. Under Pavel's management, S7 Airlines specialists developed a predictive maintenance system for aircraft. Voronin founded and managed IT innovations S7TechLab that enables S7 Group specialists to use blockchain, big data and AI to improve services for passengers and business processes at S7 Group. He also founded and headed the Department of Information Technology in Aviation of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Pavel Voronin is a co-founder of a business project on virtualizing working places and apps. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
