Sakai Moving Service Co.,Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2020. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 48,137 million against JPY 49,701 million for the same period last year. Operating profit was JPY 5,891 million against JPY 6,857 million for the same period last year. Ordinary profit was JPY 6,094 million against JPY 7,043 million for the same period last year. Profit was JPY 4,070 million against JPY 4,542 million for the same period last year. Net income per share was JPY 198.24 against JPY 221.23 for the same period last year.
Sakai Moving Service Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of automobile transportation services for moving. The Company operates in four business segments. The Moving segment is engaged in the moving transportation business and related business, as well as the sale of products and consumables for moving, and the manufacture and sale of packaging materials. The Electric Construction segment is engaged in the provision of electric construction services, and the sale of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. The Clean Services segment is engaged in the provision of cleaning services. The Recycling segment is engaged in the operation of recycle shops that provides recycled products. The Company is also engaged in the shared service system management business, and the real estate rental business.
