Roxas Holdings, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced net loss was PHP 92.749 million compared to PHP 165.603 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was PHP 0.06 compared to PHP 0.11 a year ago. For the half year, net loss was PHP 87.392 million compared to PHP 362.427 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was PHP 0.06 compared to PHP 0.23 a year ago.
Roxas Holdings, Inc. is a Philippines-based sugar and energy company. The Company is engaged in the integrated sugar business and ethanol production in the Philippines. The Company operates through two segments: Sugar and Alcohol. Its Sugar segment consists of two operating subsidiaries: Central Azucarera Don Pedro, Inc. (CADPI) and RHI Agri-Business Development Corporation (RABDC), which manufactures and sells raw and refined sugar, molasses and provides tolling and farm operations services. CADPI also manages and operates agricultural land and the planting and cultivation of sugar cane and other farm products. The Alcohol segment consists of one operating subsidiary, San Carlos Bioenergy, Inc. (SCBI), which manufactures and sells bioethanol fuel. SCBI operates an integrated sugar mill and bioethanol distillery complex.
