Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), commenced the first stage of the reconstruction of Rakhovskaya 110/6 kV closed-type substation in Saratov. Its consumers include Municipal Unitary Production Enterprise (MUPP) Saratovgorelectrotransport, Saratov Power Supply Office and other companies.
In 2016, a new 40 MW power transformer was installed at Rakhovskaya substation. In 2017, the replacement of existing T-2 power transformer for a new one (of 40 MW) is planned. In 2018, the energy sector will have to mount a switchgear (110 kV) and sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker assembly, relay protection and automation panels (RPA), ShERA STs and ShERA TT, the new 6 kV indoor switchgear cells and other equipment.
