Rinnai Corporation reported earnings results for the second quarter ended September 2018. For the quarter, the company reported operating profit of ¥12,338 million, ordinary profit of ¥14,145 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥8,802 million or ¥171.25 per basic share on net sales of ¥162,750 million against operating profit of ¥13,927 million, ordinary profit of ¥14,998 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥9,435 million or ¥181.98 per basic share on net sales of ¥159,752 million reported for the same period a year ago.
For the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2019, the company expects operating profit of ¥36,000 million, ordinary profit of ¥37,300 million, and profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥23,000 million or ¥447.47 per basic share on net sales of ¥360,000 million.
