Regal Welcomes DORÉMART to Tropics City

Ocean Megalink Sdn Bhd ("OMSB"), a subsidiary of Regal International Group Ltd ("RIGL"), has officially signed on with the well known DORÉMART supermarket chain on 8^th November 2021. It will enter the Tropics City lifestyle mall located on Jalan Song in Kuching's prime area when the mall is completed, bringing customers a diversified shopping experience!

The DORÉMART supermarket to be stationed in the Tropics City complex will have an area of ​​around 30,000 square feet, which means that it will be the largest DORÉMART supermarket in Kuching.

The DORÉMART supermarket chain was founded by an enterprising young couple, Mr. Hii Kah Hock and Ms. Wong Su Ping. The husband and wife team started their business as a small shop in Sri Aman, and now the business has grown to become a large-scale supermarket with a total of 8 branches in Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei and Sibu, with more branches opening up soon at different locations throughout in Sarawak.

This year in December, DORÉMART Supermarket will also welcome a new store in Samarahan District, so that customers will have more varieties and choices. Their goal is to open at least 5 branches in the Kuching District.

DORÉMART supermarket was originally a "DORÉMON" supermarket, but in order to keep up with the latest trend, it was later re-named DORÉMART, and focusing on providing its customers with affordable fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, daily necessities, stationery, toys, hardware, etc.

The Tropics City complex has apartments located from the 5th to 12th floors, while the DORÉMART supermarket will be located on the ground floor. The vision of Tropics City lifestyle mall is to provide their residents and customers with the ease and benefit of a "one-stop" leisure and green living environment, focusing on six major life themes, namely, food, education, medical care, health, beauty wellness, culture and art, which are in line with the living conditions of the people nowadays.
