Forstinger ties up with S&T as an IT outsourcing partner

From 1.1.2012 onwards, the system supplier S&T which focuses on Central and Eastern Europe, will take over the IT outsourcing in Austria for Forstinger - the car accessories and spare parts retailerIn addition to the "Workplace Management", S&T will also operate the data centre, host the ERP system and take over a Citrix terminal server farm as part of the project.

New customer for S&T: Forstinger Österreich GmbH is outsourcing its IT to S&T. As a vendor-neutral and Austrian outsourcing provider, S&T is an ideal solution partner for the well known retail chain company, which can not only come up with high quality and standardised outsourcing services but also the additional customisation that is necessary.

In addition to the workplace management, which includes managing the clients at the head office and the branches or the cash counter systems, S&T takes over the complete Data Center Outsourcing as well as hosting and operating the inventory management system that is based on IBM technology and a Citrix terminal server farm for the client area. While providing the server landscape, the experts at S&T focus on an extremely flexible and innovative virtualisation concept. In the future, S&T will also work in the areas of IT security and network infrastructure for Forstinger.

Forstinger is the number one in car accessories and spare parts retailing and the largest national dealer for car tyres in Austria since 50 years.
