PRESS RELEASE

Following press reports with respect to the decision of the Hellenic Competition Commission regarding the appeal of Aluminium of Greece (AoG) against PPC on 10.12.2013, PPC announces the following:

- The Competition Commission considers sufficient and accepted the commitments that PPC proposed during the meeting convened on 25.09.2015. These commitments are in line with the Company's strategy towards its customers. In other words, the decision of the Competition Commission is neither a 'victory' nor a 'defeat' for any party, as it was presented in certain press articles and it does not predetermine the outcome of the negotiations regarding the pricing of AoG.
- Within this context, the General Meeting of Shareholders of PPC S.A. held on the 7th of December 2015, defined certain criteria which lead to 56 different tariffs, providing a negotiating basis with all High Voltage customers.

- PPC expects from AoG to participate in discussions and negotiations with the necessary constructive spirit in order to reach a solution.
