(Alliance News) - Poligrafici Printing Spa announced Wednesday that, through its subsidiary Centro Stampa Poligrafici Srl, it has reached an agreement with Cooperativa Editoriale Giornali Associati Spa to print the daily newspaper "Corriere Romagna."

This agreement, effective Jan. 1, 2023, will run for four years and provides for the printing of all editions of the daily Corriere Romagna at CSP's production facilities.

CSP will also be the supplier of the paper, for which it recently obtained PEFC, Program for the Endorsment of Forest Certification schemes, certification.

Poligrafici Printing President Nicola Natali commented, "We are very pleased with the agreement reached with the publisher of Corriere Romagna, whose entire management we thank for the trust they have placed in us. This is an important signal in the polygraphic printing market, which is suffering from the constant decline in print runs. The process of aggregation of printing orders in our plants continues and Poligrafici Printing's project to develop agreements, including corporate and mutual synergies with third-party publishers."

Poligrafici Printing on Wednesday trades in the green by 2.3 percent at EUR0.35 per share.
