PIMCO High Income Fund reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2013. For the quarter, the company reported net investment income was $19,529,514 or $0.16 per share compared with $23,669,319 or $0.19 per share for the same period last year. Net realized and change in unrealized loss was $2,825,247 or $0.03 per share compared with net realized and change in unrealized gain $82,211,152 or $0.69 per share for the same period last year.
For the six months, the company reported net investment income was $38,071,503 or $0.31 per share compared with $52,997,208 or $0.43 per share for the same period last year. Net realized and change in unrealized loss was $24,443,999 or $0.19 per share compared with net realized and change in unrealized gain $88,317,868 or $0.74 per share for the same period last year. Net asset value was $8.04 per share compared with $8.31 per share for the same period last year.
