Perma-Fix Environmental Services Inc. Appoints Mark Duff as Executive Vice President

On May 15, 2016, Perma-Fix Environmental Services Inc, with the approval of the Board of Director, appointed Mr. Mark Duff to the position of Executive Vice President, where he will be responsible for supporting and accelerating growth in the Services Segment as well as providing leadership in diversification of the waste treatment group. Mr. Duff has 30 years of management and technical experience in the Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD) environmental and construction markets as a corporate officer, senior project manager, co-founder of a consulting firm, and federal employee. Prior to the PGDP project, Mr. Duff was a senior manager supporting Babcock and Wilcox (B&W) leading several programs that included building teams to solve complex technical problems.
Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. is an environmental and environmental technology know-how company. The Company operates through two segments: Treatment and Services. The Treatment Segment includes nuclear, low-level radioactive, mixed waste, hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment, processing, and disposal; and research and development (R&D) activities to identify, develop and implement innovative waste processing techniques for problematic waste streams. Its Services segment includes technical services, nuclear services and the Company-owned equipment calibration and maintenance laboratory that services, maintains, calibrates, and sources health physics, industrial hygiene (IH) and customized nuclear, environmental, and occupational safety and health (NEOSH) instrumentation. Its technical services provide professional radiological measurement and site survey of large government and commercial installations using advanced methods, technology, and engineering.
