OXFORD, Mich., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of Oxford Bank, a subsidiary of Oxford Bank Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: OXBC), announced today the appointment of Jerry V. Farstvedt to senior loan officer. His responsibilities will include the supervision of all activities related to the Bank's commercial banking and consumer loan departments, the Bank's mortgage subsidiary Oxford Bank Mortgage Services, L.L.C., and its compliance and loss prevention apparatus.

Mr. Farstvedt began his 18-year career with Oxford Bank as an assistant vice president and commercial loan officer in August of 1988. He was promoted to vice president in December of 1995 and to senior vice president in January of 2004. In addition, Mr. Farstvedt was designated manager of the Bank's commercial banking department in 1996.

A community banker for over 34 years, and commercial lender and manager for over 27 years, Mr. Farstvedt joined Oxford Bank after spending nearly 16 years in various positions with a larger, southeastern Michigan-based bank. A long-time resident of Orion Township, he is a past president and past board member of the Oxford Community Development Authority.
