Monterrey, Nuevo León October 28th 2011.
Organización Soriana, S.A.B. de C.V. (Soriana) is pleased to
announce the opening of our three new stores, Soriana Hiper
"Plaza Paseo La Paz", Mercado Soriana
"Cadereyta" and Mercado Soriana "Las
Flores", these stores are located in the cities of La
Paz, BCS. Monterrey, NL. and Coacalco in the state of Mexico,
respectively.
Together, these stores are generating more than 400 direct
jobs, an increase in installed capacity of sales floor area
of 16,020 sq.mts and an investment was made of over $240
million pesos for its construction.
During the month of October were opened five stores, two of
which were in the Express format, two in the Market format
and one more in the hypermarket format. Thus, Soriana
reaffirms its commitment with Mexico as a company generating
employment and investment in the country.
