MONCTON, New Brunswick (AP) _ OrganiGram Holdings Inc. (OGI) on Tuesday reported a loss of $1 million in its fiscal first quarter.

The Moncton, New Brunswick-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 3 cents per share.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 3 cents per share.

The cannabis producer posted revenue of $24.2 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $23.4 million.
