HOLLYWOOD, FL--(Marketwired - Jan 14, 2016) - NV5 Global, Inc. (the "Company" or "NV5") (NASDAQ: NVEE), a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions, announced today that it recently completed Owners Project Management (OPM) services for the 74,340 GSF, 600 student, K-5 Angier Elementary School in Newton, MA with a construction cost of $27.5 million. The project included demolition of the existing school, unsuitable soils remediation, and construction of a 40 foot high retaining wall against an existing active trolley line prior to the start of new construction, all within a densely populated urban area. NV5 has been selected for two more schools in Newton, MA. The Zervas Elementary School recently began construction in January 2016 and will be completed in fall 2017 and the Cabot Elementary School is in the schematic design stage of the project.

Dickerson Wright, PE, Chairman and CEO of NV5, said, "We are proud of the work we do in the program management vertical at NV5, a service line that includes two practices: building program management -- the category to which our K-12, higher education, healthcare, retail, and hospitality projects like Angier Elementary belong and we serve as the owner's agent throughout all stages of the project -- and civil program management -- the service line in which we develop and manage the overall capital plan of large highway, utility and ports projects. We like to be able to provide our clients a very wide range of professional services under the umbrella of program management and we are able to do that through cross-selling and synergies identified among our five different verticals. Angier Elementary School is a great example of the multidisciplinary range of services we can provide in support of our clients."

"In order to maintain our aggressive schedule for the Angier Elementary project, our team of project managers and a site representative provided a near-constant on-site presence to monitor and push the project to completion on schedule," said Project Director Jeffrey Luxenberg, CCM, AICP. "Our contract started with a Feasibility Study and was amended to include design, construction, and close out."
