January 19th 2012 - Longtime television executive Dan Harrison will join FOX as Executive Vice President, Scheduling, it was announced today by FOX President of Entertainment Kevin Reilly. Harrison will report to Reilly and will be responsible for strategic program planning and scheduling at television's No. 1 network among Adults 18-49.

"Dan is not only a proven strategic scheduling executive, but he also brings invaluable expertise in emerging networks to FOX," said Reilly. "With his program planning experience across broadcast, cable and sports entertainment, and his background in digital and mobile platforms, Dan is the ideal guy to step into this role as we continue to drive the industry forward."

"While at NBC I hired Dan to be my sidekick and I am thrilled that he was interested in reuniting," said Preston Beckman, Senior Strategist, Fox Networks Group. "Dan is passionate about television and a true broadcaster. His addition to a veteran, dedicated scheduling team will ensure FBC's long term success."

Harrison joins FOX from CBS Corporation, where he served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development and was responsible for identifying and implementing organic growth opportunities. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of the Emerging Networks Group at NBC Cable, where he launched and managed all aspects of various digital cable and mobile networks, including Sleuth, Chiller, Universal HD, NBC2Go and NBCNews2Go. Prior to that, Harrison held senior strategic program planning executive roles at Bravo Network, Fox Sports Group and NBC Entertainment.

No stranger to the Fox Entertainment family, Harrison began his career at Twentieth Century Fox Television syndication in the Creative Services Group and subsequently served as a programming analyst at Twentieth Television. Harrison holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and is an accomplished writer.
