INVISTA demonstrated its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship by achieving Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) Conservation Certification at its site in Camden, South Carolina.

INVISTA Camden was designated as Certified Silver, which indicates leadership among the over 600 WHC Conservation Certification programs. Programs are granted a Certified, Silver Certified or Gold Certified designation.

The Camden site was first WHC certified in 1992, and today has 100 acres of WHC-certified land. Twenty volunteers manage four environmental programs focused on habitats for Wood Ducks, Prothonotary Warblers, Purple Martins and Bluebirds.

'The INVISTA Camden site is recognized as meeting the strict requirements of WHC Conservation Certification,' said Margaret O'Gorman, President, WHC. 'Companies achieving WHC Conservation Certification, like INVISTA, are environmental leaders, voluntarily managing their lands to support sustainable ecosystems and the communities that surround them.'

Jay Johnson, INVISTA Camden site manager said, 'I'm proud of our employees and their continued commitment to stewardship and environmental excellence. It's exciting to see their dedication once again recognized by the Wildlife Habitat Council.'
