NAFCO Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2019. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 223,246 million against JPY 225,511 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 6,997 million against JPY 7,654 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 7,525 million against JPY 8,093 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 4,518 million against JPY 4,380 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 157.65 against JPY 147.06 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the first half year and full year of fiscal 2020. For the first half year, the company expects net sales of JPY 118,854 million, operating income of JPY 6,558 million, ordinary income of JPY 6,850 million, net income of JPY 3,810 million and net income per share of JPY 133.39.
For the year ending March 31, 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 224,997 million, operating income of JPY 8,426 million, ordinary income of JPY 8,971 million, net income of JPY 4,781 million and net income per share of JPY 167.38.
